Social Commitment
Our social commitment consists of voluntarily promoting corporate policies that have by objective something more than economic benefit and are closer to the objectives and values necessary for the community.

From Myrtea Export we have contributed to the “Freixo Project” by planting 15 trees that are equivalent to 5,511 kg CO2 through a reforestation initiative in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia.
For the third consecutive year Juan Francisco Gómez, Financial Director, of Myrtea Export leads the project and participate in the Berlin Marathon to fight climate change. With this action from Myrtea Export we actively contribute to the fight for the environment, the conservation of flora and fauna and the creation of employment and opportunities for local communities.
Myrtea Export collaborates with the United Nations to finance a public health project in Africa.
Our financial director, Juan Francisco Gómez, and about 40 runners from the Region of Murcia have participated in the Vienna Marathon, championing a noble cause: converting CO2 from their journey in the ‘Tubeho Neza de DelAgua’ project, which will provide innovative stoves and high-performance in Rwanda to reduce indoor air pollution.
Myrtea Export, together with AJE and the Tigre Foundation, are the entities that have organized this action from the Region of Murcia.
The idea was born from Juan Francisco Gómez, who was in charge of visiting companies in search of donations and the response was unbeatable. More than 40 professionals, who are part of the business fabric of the Region, have achieved this goal of the week in the ‘Real Parks Half Marathon’; a test in which they have participated in solidarity and whose proceeds have been destined to the charity organization Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Shipping materials to Ukraine
It is our commitment to provide support in the face of the tragic situation that the Ukrainian people are experiencing, to the extent of our possibilities, and to this end, at Myrtea we have initiated a collaboration with the Association of Ukrainians of the Region of Murcia with the aim of being able to send food products , hygienic and non-perishable, among others.
